This site is about our veterans.

My father was a veteran. Neither my two brothers, nor myself, have any idea what our father did during his service in the Army. We know James J. Church typed with two fingers in the hunt-and-peck style when filling out paperwork. We know he was in Germany during the early 1950s and played many games of baseball in his off duty hours. We know little else.

This lack of details of a veteran’s honorable service to his country is what inspired me to start this project. I am attempting to give veterans the chance to tell their stories – it is the least I can do for those who served.
